New Air Rail Lines in Istanbul

Turkey Government is planning 10 new Air Rail lines in Istanbul. The distance of new lines will be 86.7 km in total. The purpose is to reduce the traffic problem in Istanbul.

New Air Rail Lines with starting to activity dates as follows;

Sefaköy-Halkalı-Başakşehir Air Rail Line;

It will be total 15 KM with 17 stations and will start to activity in 2019.

  • Fatih Terim Stadyumu

Sefaköy-Kuyumcukent-Havalimanı Air Rail Line;

It will be total 7 KM with 3 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and third station will be just 14 minutes.

4. Levent-Gültepe-Çeliktepe-Levent Air Rail Line:

It will be total 5.5 km with 4 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and fourth station will be only 11 minutes.

Beyoğlu-Şişli Air Rail Line:

It will be total 5.8 KM with 8 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and eighth station will be only 12 minutes

Maltepe-Başıbüyük Air Rail Line:

It will be total 9 KM with 8 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and eighth station will be only 18 minutes

Kadıköy-Üsküdar (Libadiye Street) Air Rail Line:

It will be total 7.4 KM with 9 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and eighth station will be only 12,5 minutes

  • Göztepe SGK Policlinics
  • Göztepe Kavşağı

Tuzla Belediyesi-Sahil Air Rail Line:

It will be total 4.7 KM with 6 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and eighth station will be only 9.5 minutes

Kartal-D-100 Air Rail Line:

It will be total 3 KM with 5 stations and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between first and fifth will be only 6 minutes

  • Yunus
  • Karlıtepe
  • Kordonboyu

Ataşehir -Ümraniye Air Rail Line:

It will be total 11 KM and they are planning to start construction after planning the distance between stations will reduce 22 minutes.

Kadıköy-Maltepe-Kartal Air Rail Line:

It will be 18 KM and will start to activity after 2019. The distance between stations will reduce 36 minutes.
