Important Amendment to the Turkish Nationality Law
Customers of Tamalok Real Estate Company, who have invested in properties paid after 12/01/2017, and received its title deed after 19/09/2018 can apply for Turkish nationality, even if the former owner of the property is foreigner, provided that the last owner of the property is a Turkish person or company by completing the value of their properties up to 250 thousand dollars by owning new properties to complete the total amount.
The new amendment also removes the requirement to show a bank receipt in the application for Turkish citizenship through real estate purchased from public companies such as TOKİ and Emlak Konut.
However, the requirement for proof of payment by bank receipts remains in effect in the purchase of real estate from private companies or persons.
Customers who have purchased property worth $ 1 million as of 12/01/2017 do not have to prove their payments with bank receipts, even if the purchase of their property has been made by private companies.
