30 Billion $ Tourism Sector Revenues in Turkey Next Year
Turkey’s tourism sector is expected to witnsss a growth of 30 billion $ in 2018 due to the decision to be issued by the Council of Ministers later this month, according to the Minister of Tourism. New incentives for tour operators up to 9000 $ for each group of tourists came to Turkey through them.
The minister also expressed his hope that Turkey will become a tourist destination in all areas, even health, and sports, adding that he is communicating with other countries to conclude joint deals to attract visitors from the West, especially from the United States of America.
He also said that they are trying to expand the attraction of tourists beyond the usual market in Europe and reach Asia, they are now seeking to open tourism with the Far East countries such as Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia, especially with the countries of India and China.
On the other hand, data from the Turkish Ministry of Finance in October showed that tourism revenues for 2017 will reach 20 billion dollars.
