126 new projects will be launched this year in Turkey

In a statement, the Minister of Communications and Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Turkey said that the current year 2018 will witness the implementation of new projects worth 15 billion and 900 million Turkish lira.,

Thus, 2018 will be a year of projects with distinction.

The Minister also mentioned that in the last 15 years Turkey has witnessed the establishment of large projects worth 380 billion and 20 million Turkish lira and that the government plans to allocate 28 billion and 800 million Turkish for the establishment of projects in the coming year 2019.

He added that the Turkish government is moving forward with infrastructure projects that will increase the networks of roads and railways. He pointed out that the roads are an indicator of civilized development in developed countries, so the government of Turkey attaches great importance to this issue.

According to the annual plan approved by the Turkish government, a package of mega projects will be announced for various ministries in the next few days.

The Istanbul Canal Project, which will start in 2018, is one of the largest projects to be implemented in Turkey in the modern era. A new Strait-like strait will be created, but it will be under the control of the Turkish state, unlike the Bosphorus Strait, which cannot be controlled by international restrictions.
